You may have visited Kentwell either
for the Open Air Shakespeare in the summer or the Christmas Concert in
the winter. We have now decided to extend the summer performances into
a season of great variety including Opera, Folk/Rock, a Revue and
Light Classical music.
Dressing Up
What is more, for
those who care to do it, we invite you to dress up appropriately for
some of these evenings. We certainly hope that you will enjoy a
sumptious supper in the floodlit gardens.
The Performances (all performances start at 7.45 pm)
Two of the
entertainments will be promenade concerts. That is you can come and
go as you please or drink or picnic during the performance. This will
be possible because the performers will play across one of the Moats.
They will be on one side and the audience on the other. Not only is
this a romantic setting but the acoustics this creates make for a
memorable performance.
